  • Deep Dish dissident Dubfire is set to headline Slam's Pressure night this Friday. Dominating both the underground and mainstream dance scenes since the release of "I Feel Speed" in 2007, Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia returns to Glasgow for the first time since he tore down the city's Sub Club twelve short months ago. The party will mark Dubfire's debut gig at Glasgow's legendary Arches venue, but the Slam guys have got plenty more up their sleeves for this weekend's Bank Holiday bash. Miss Kittin and The Hacker will perform live together to promote their second full-length Two, whilst Pier Bucci will bring his slippery South American minimalism to one of the arches with his live set. Matthias Tanzmann and Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus will also make a turn behind the decks, whilst Soma favourites Silicone Soul and The Black Dog complete the bill for the three arch, six hour techno session.
