Cocoon are set to release the ninth edition of their compilation series next month.
Sven Vath is now up to the letter I, and as usual the release will feature twelve tracks that are totally exclusive to the release. With a man of his status in the techno scene, it's no surprise that he's yet again been able to pull some of the most popular names of the current electronic climate together for this installment, with
Johnny D,
Radio Slave,
Lauhaus,
Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts,
Timo Maas,
Gaiser and
Chymera offering up a track each. As with previous editions, vinyl fans will be able to purchase the compilation as a special 6x12" box set, but if you're on a bit of a budget, you may just want to plump for the standard CD release. However, wax advocates may want to check out Sven's
Cocoon shop, which is currently offering the previous two Cocoon compilations on vinyl for just €25 - a snip compared to their usual retail price.
