Vinyl On Demand will release a ten-LP boxset from Muslimgauze called Chasing The Shadow Of Bryn Jones 1983-1988.
Though there have been a few retrospective releases of Bryn Jones's work since his death in 1999, this is easily the most comprehensive: in addition to ten records, the package also includes a 208-page book, a poster and a CD. Jones was heavily interested in the Israel/Palestine conflict, and many of his album and track titles reflected his pro-Palestinian stance. Musically, he combined Eastern and Western styles, releasing more than 200 albums in his career.
Chasing The Shadow Of Bryn Jones 1983-1988 pulls together all of Muslimgauze's material from that period, spread across ten 12-inches. It will see release in mid-April through Vinyl On Demand, a label that specialises in comprehensive retrospectives (in the past they've released boxsets from cult acts like Severed Heads and Nurse With Wound).
