- Is (Is Superpowered) will see release through the German label on March 16th.
Kyoka will release an album through Raster-Noton on March 16th.
The Japanese experimental producer had a few releases on German imprint onpa))))) before debuting on Raster-Noton in 2012 with the Ish EP (as part of its Unun series), which we noted was more club-friendly than the label's usual fare in our review. Now Kyoka will return for an full-length called Is (Is Superpowered). Originally based on a demo track dating back to 2010, the LP is said to touch on minimal techno and industrial, focusing on rhythmic material much like its predecessor. Frank Bretschneider and Robert Ripokku of To Rococo Rot will guest on the record as well. Check out album track "Re-Pulsion" below.
