- The Hamburg club may be in business again in as soon as two weeks.
The Golden Pudel is now set to reopen within the next month.
The beloved Hamburg nightclub suffered a devastating fire last weekend that severely damaged the roof and upper floor, while causing no injuries. In the wake of the blaze, owners pledged to rebuild the Pudel as soon as they could. Now, co-founder Rocko Schamoni has told the Hamburger Abendblatt that the Pudel could reopen within two to four weeks, as repairs to the roof are finished and the building is now resealed.
Even if the club does reopen in March, its future remains up in the air due to an ongoing legal dispute between the two owners. It's set to go up for auction on April 20th. Supporters have planned a demonstration tonight to call for the venue's continued existence.
