Detroit techno legend Carl Craig and Ibadan chief Jerome Sydenham remix Faze Action's classic 'In the Trees'. The 12" vinyl drops in early March.

Faze Action were the Lee brothers Simon and Robin, and ‘In the Trees’ was the biggest single off their 1997 album 'Plans and Designs', noted for its grand sweeping use of orchestral strings on the influential Nuphonic imprint.

Good news for those that missed 'In the Trees' the first time around – the original will be re-released alongside new remixes from Craig and Sydenham & Tiger Stripes. Craig’s remix is especially getting play all over the joint at the moment: Listen out for it in this week’s RA 0.45. For a glimpse at the flipside, check out the Sydenham & Tiger Stripes club mix on the Ibadan MySpace page.

The Faze Action remixes are the first in a series of ten classic dance cuts issued by Juno Records in 2007 on its new label to commemorate its tenth anniversary. Future remixers lined up include Julien Jabre, Spirit Catcher, Dimitri from Paris, Lindstrom, Troy Pierce and Cobblestone Jazz.

CD promo tracklist

1. Carl Craig C2 remix #1 (8:42)
2. Jerome Sydenham & Tiger Stripes rendition (7:11)
3. Jerome Sydenham & Tiger Stripes dark rub (5:53)
4. Jerome Sydenham & Tiger Stripes club mix (7:11)
5. Faze Action original 1996 mix (7:45)

Faze Action 'In the Trees (Remixes)' is released on Juno Records on March 1, 2007.
