Here’s a couple of promo vids for the DEMF to get you in the mood. The first one is Collabs3000 (Speedy J & Chris Leibing) and the second Richie Hawtin, taken at last year’s event. We didn’t know Collabs3000 was actually Stephan Bodzin! Still, looking like a lot of fun.

The DEMF will be held in Detroit on May 26-28, 2007. comment 39 Comments

You might remember me as the white-haired scooter-dancin' woman they call Grandma Techno. Anyway, I'm a photographer too and have put up a gallery with my DEMF photos on PBase.com. The URL is:

as a matter of fact if i had to choose between the two events, hands down DEMF in a heartbeats notice

why?
-its a about quality not quantity! in the 3 days of DEMF the music was far more superior than in the 7 days of WMC

-less hectic no mixing with the spring breakers and hip hoppers everyone that was there was just about he music, schedule was alot less crazy

-the people from the city of detroit where the most down to earth friendly and real as your gonna get,... More
