Okay, it’s official – RA is throwing a party during Sonar Week at BeCool, the newest and shiniest club in Barcelona. The lineup is a hot potato: we’ve roped in Ewan Pearson, Sebo K and Efdemin to spin – three of the hottest names in dance music.

The special one off party is happening on Saturday June 16th, the biggest night of the Sonar. Think of it as a chance to confirm that those people you’ve been talking to over the Internet actually exist (all attendees will be required to wear a nametag with their username on it. NB: not confirmed – still in discussions about this) – or just as an opportunity to catch the best in house and techno at a great Barcelona venue.

Downstairs we’ve roped in three of the hottest names in dance music. Ewan Pearson was voted number one RA podcaster of 2006, and he’s just put the finishing touches on 'Fabric 35' so catch him before he starts spinning stadiums. Sebo K is the deep house weapon at rated label Mobilee Records, and he's winging his way to Barcelona to celebrate the release of his debut mix CD ‘Back Up Vol. 01’ with all of us. Finally, Efdemin from Dial Records is arriving from Berlin just for our party – He’s just put his debut album out so we’re expecting nothing less than loop-de-loops. All three are fantastic DJs so catch them if you can.

Upstairs in the lounge we’ve got two more. RA friend and podcaster Will Saul from Simple Records will be spinning the home stretch, while journo/DJ and Barcelona resident Philip Sherburne not only holds up the local front, but reminds us what we’ve got to be doing Monday morning.

Arrival time is twelve o’clock. Check in and check it out!

Resident Advisor Night is happening at BeCool in Barcelona on June 16th, 2007.
