We’re looking for an app engineer who is confident developing for iOS and/or Android. The ideal candidate will be keen to explore the latest technologies and open to developing with or learning about new platforms.
We’re an ambitious team, with high standards. We care about the technology we use and the way we implement it. UX and design are of high importance. We’ve reached an exciting point and are about to define what the the next phase of RA Apps will look like.
You’ll be working as part of the apps team, looking after existing RA Apps, shaping new ideas and influencing our technology choices. We’re looking to expand to other platforms such as Android, so experience or a passion to adapt and learn is a must.
Expertise we are interested in:
- Swift 3
- C#, Xamarin
- Understanding of OOP, POP, functional and SOLID principles
- Dependency Injection
- Design patterns and architecture
- TDD, automated testing
- UI and Auto layout
- Consuming RESTful web APIs
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, GIT - BitBucket, SourceTree
- Continuous integration - macOS Server and bots

RA is offering a full-time paid internship for three months to a proactive and motivated individual. The internship will encompass a broad range of tasks and involvement with projects across multiple departments within the company. Working with multiple departments will ensure you develop a comprehensive understanding of daily company operations, project development and content management/production our site provides for brands, festivals and promoters. We are looking for a hard-working individual who wants to gain practical experience that will provide firm foundations for future involvement within the music industry. This role will suit a self-starter, who won’t hesitate to ask questions and get involved. A strong interest in electronic music and a willingness to learn is hugely desirable. This is a paid role.

General Intern - Sydney
We are looking for an intern to join the RA team in our Sydney office for three months. This is a general role, and you will work closely with our Content Manager and our Sydney based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to come on board and gain a real understanding of how a website like RA works on all levels, as well as having the opportunity to use your local knowledge to improve our listings and event offerings. This is a part time paid role.

Netherlands & Belgium Contributor
We are looking for a part time local contributor to assist with taking RA's event and club listings in their region to the next level. Your role will focus on increasing RA's presence in Netherlands and Belgium and advocating RA's value to the electronic music community. You should be an active member of the electronic music scene, with a wide-ranging network of contacts—promoters, club owners, DJs, producers. You will need a great eye for detail and must be able to hit deadlines. Experience with ticketing is desirable. The role suits a music-obsessed freelancer or someone who works flexible hours and speaks fluent Dutch and English.
