Ultra Music Festival initial line-up announced

- The Winter Music Conference event will feature a rare US performance from Roni Size.
- The main event for many Winter Music Conference-goers, The Ultra Music Festival, has announced the initial line-up for its 11th installment. Taking place over two days, Bicentennial Park will host WMC exclusive performances from the likes of Carl Cox, Tiesto, Bloc Party, The Ting Tings, Cut Copy, Deadmau5, Santogold, Hercules & Love Affair. And, if that's not enough to whet your appetite, they've also convinced Roni Size Reprazent to come over to the States for their first US date in more than seven years. But while Bicentennial Park will be the only place you'll be able to catch those particular acts, there are plenty more that will be playing at Ultra—as well as potentially hitting up other parties throughout the week-long event. Among the initial line-up at least, The Presets, Crystal Castles, Simian Mobile Disco and Busy P will all look to be free agents for lucrative opportunities for promoters with heavy checkbooks. These acts not lighting your world on fire? Don't fret: there'll be even more exclusive and non-exclusive additions to the roster in the coming weeks.
