- The Norwegian drone producer will release his second full-length in March.
The dark-loving Norwegian Erik Skodvin, otherwise known as one-half of Deaf Center, will release his second album for Type under the Svarte Greiner moniker in March.
Entitled Kaape, the album follows on from Skodvin's debut Knive, which was an ambient album that traded in spook, layering "cello, violin and rattling miscellanies" to create a tour de force of doom atmospherics. An electronic album in feeling only, Kaape sees the producer adding in saxophone and guitar to go even deeper into the world of drone music that seems to draw as much inspiration from the Black Metal of his native Norway as it does from the electronic excursions of other acts on Type.
Tracklist
01. Tunnel Of Love
02. Mystery Man
03. Candle Light Dinner Actress
04. Last Light
Type will release Svarte Greiner's Kappe on March 02, 2009.
