  • James Zabiela has become the first artist to score a residency at London's matter club. Zabiela's night will go under the name Positronic, and he's picked some of his favourite DJs to join him in celebrating their first night on March 7th. Zabiela has said in the past that Joey Beltram's "Energy Flash" was one of the first tracks that really made him understand electronic music, and Beltram himself will join James in the main room. Christian Smith and John Selway will also be tag-teaming in between Zabiela and Beltram. The second arena is dedicated to showcasing acts that are rising through the ranks, which means UK techno duo Spektre will headline the room with their live set (which was recently committed to CD on their Live At Glade release), whilst Zabiela will pay his dues to his native Southampton by inviting High Tide residents Dan Reid and Gary Bennetton along for the ride. Eager Zabiela fans can already book their spot on the matter dancefloor directly through RA Tickets.
