Enigmatic techno label Sandwell District will come to Manchester this weekend.
The imprint, which was profiled in RA's pages last year has made a habit of putting out uncompromising, stripped down techno and that's exactly what punters should expect when Function and Regis take to the decks. The duo is billed together, which would suggest a back-to-back DJ set, but as with everything that Sandwell does, it's best just to sit back and enjoy the obfuscation rather than trying to find answers. Either way, you'll be able to see what happens at Bookbinders on Friday—a dark, intimate space perfect for the Sandwell sound.
