  • Âme, Dixon and Henrik Schwarz will make their live London debut as a quartet at Secretsundaze next month. The four first performed live together at Innervisions and RA's A Critical Mass party at last year's Amsterdam Dance Event, and after toying with the Innervisions Orchestra moniker, they decided to name their project after the name of the party. Henrik Schwarz explained the name change to DJ Scene, stating that "when we had the idea to do the orchestra—I think that's three years ago—there weren't so many orchestras out there, but we had the feeling that today there's just so many orchestras now, and it might be a good idea to change it to something else." The show will take place at the Coronet Theatre on Thursday 9th April, and early arrivals will also be treated to an Ableton workshop run by the Innervisions crew themselves. As if that wasn't enough to keep you happy, Priestley and Smith have roped in the Horse Meat Disco lads to take over the second room with their selection of deviant disco delights. They'll host a set from Italian cosmic disco pioneer Daniele Baldelli, so expect to hear more than a few records played at 33rpm instead of their usual 45. Tickets are now available directly through RA.
