  • Ibiza's International Music Summit will return to the white isle for its second year in May. Started as an alternative to bigger conference events such as Amsterdam's ADE, the first International Music Summit in 2008 was branded a great success by its organisers, and hence they're back for another round from May 27-29. This time, however, the profile of their keynote speakers has increased dramatically, with Richie Hawtin, Matt Edwards, Rob Da Bank and Sander Kleinenberg all set to host discussion groups. It isn't just artists that will be imparting their pearls of wisdom though. All sorts of people from the business side of the industry will be there too, representing brands like Cream, KCRW, Pioneer and even the Sonar festival. Whether you want to get your track onto a hit TV show, learn about artist management or just get some deals done with some of the industry's top brass, you can do it at the IMS. The event will conclude with a big party at the island's Dalt Vila, which is free for all IMS attendees. However, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase closer to the date of the event. The line-up is still being confirmed, but it's looking likely that some of the guest speakers should step up to the platter and show off their skills.
