- The Polish techno producer will release a mix CD of his own material later this month.
Warsaw-based techno producer Jacek Sienkiewicz is set to release his Modern Dance mix CD this month.
First it was Ricardo Villalobos, then Omar-S, but now Jacek Sienkiewicz is set to follow in the footsteps of producers compiling their own productions onto a mixed CD. Instead of going for a selection entirely composed of exclusive cuts or new edits like the aforementioned mixes, Sienkiewicz has instead decided to mix the tracks from his previous Recognition and Cocoon releases in their original form. There are a few new selections, however, including collaborations with Marcin Öz (AKA DJ Highfish), as well as Chilean minimalist Pier Bucci on the stripped-back groove of "Eastern Promises."
As with his Téchnè and Displaced full-lengths, the mix will find its home on Sven Vath's Cocoon imprint, and will be preceded by the release of his "All Yours" single in the coming weeks.
