- Simple and Aus boss Will Saul will join Appleblim for his first label showcase in his native Bristol next weekend.
- Appleblim is set to launch his label party in Bristol next weekend. The Apple Pips boss has long expressed a desire to get Will Saul down to his hometown for a DJ set, and his plans have finally come to fruition with next Friday's Apple Pips showcase at Native. The pair have forged a close relationship, with Appleblim contributing collaborations with Komonazmuk and Ramadanman (the latter being the pair's first house track) for Saul's Aus and Simple labels, whilst Saul will return the favour with his forthcoming collaboration with Mike Monday, which will drop on Apple Pips later this year. The two other guests, Brackles and Greena, also have Apple Pips singles scheduled, and will bring their infectious mix of dubstep, funky, garage and grime to the party (check Greena's recent mix for FACT for a taster of what to expect). Appleblim himself completes the line-up with an extended two hour set, and there'll even be a screening of the video for Ramadanman's "Humber" for early attendees.
