Get metal at Sonar

- Move D, Solomun and dOP are amongst the acts performing at Soundworks' Iron Haus party during the Sonar weekend.
- Barcelona's Soundworks crew will host a special off-Sonar party at artist Alex Berned's gallery and workshop on Thursday 18th June. Berned's main work comprises of metal sculpturing, and the plan is to combine his futurist art with suitably forward-thinking electronic music. There's a mix of both DJs and live performers, with French party animals dOP leading the charge with one of their notoriously energetic workouts. Move D will appease fans of a deeper musical persuasion with his only appearance of the Sonar weekend, and there's plenty more house and techno shenanigans on offer from Marco Resmann, Vincenzo, Funk D'Void and Diynamic owner Solomun. Art fans may want to arrive early, though, as Berned himself will be sculpting one of his metal sculptures live before your eyes for the first two-and-a-half hours of the event. Early bird tickets have already sold out, but you can still secure your entry at the usual price of €15 directly through RA Tickets.
