  • Jody Wisternoff, one half of UK-based progressive house duo Way Out West, is set to play a series of Australian club shows, kicking off in late August. Wisternoff's visit follows fellow Way Out West member Nick Warren’s Easter appearances earlier this year. We Love Machine, the pair’s forth album together, is set for release in September via Hope Recordings, shortly following Wisternoff’s Australian dates. According to Warren, the album draws influence from the recent cosmic disco explosion, spearheaded by the likes of Lindstrom and Prins Thomas. The pair have stated the making of We Love Machine saw them turn back to their analogue roots, resulting in something along the lines of "the Pet Shop Boys making a very cool underground record." Both Warren and Wisternoff are known for showcasing their studio material pre-release, so expect to hear plenty of We Love Machine material at Wisternoff's dates.
