The duo will be playing regularly at Melbourne’s Sorry Grandma!.
Having been regulars at the club since it opened its doors a few months ago, they've now made their relationship official. Canyons recently grabbed attention when their deal with label Modular Recordings was made public in April, for which a full-length is on the way. They also recently made the blog rounds with their inclusion on Cosmo Vitelli's debut I'm A Cliché label compilation. Prior to releasing their LP via Modular, they'll also be releasing their Fire Eyes 12-inch through DFA Records in August.
Dates for Sorry Grandma! shows beyond July are yet to be announced, but we’ve been told that the monthly dates will mark the pair’s only Melbourne club appearances.
Meanwhile, non-Melbourne residents lucky enough to snatch tickets to the sold out Splendour in the Grass festival will be able to catch the duo in action in the Mix Up text next weekend.
