- The Amsterdam-based duo will release their self-titled LP on Dekmantel next month.
Juju & Jordash are set to release their first full-length release in September.
Gal "Juju" Aner and Jordan "Jordash" Czamanski originally met in their Israeli homeland during their childhood, each looking for a musical partner with whom to improvise. After discovering a mutual love for music within an electronic club format, the duo decided to team up permanently, releasing their instrumentally-inflected house singles on respected imprints such as Real Soon, Psychostasia and Aesthetic Audio. Next month will see the duo take the step into the album market with Juju & Jordash, which will see the light of day on both CD, vinyl and digital formats.
Balancing uptempo dancefloor workouts such as "Dirty Spikes" with deep and jazzy excursions like "Niks," the record is set to showcase the full range of the duo's hypnotic and cerebral sound. Apart from "Deep Blue Meanies" and "Time Slip," the remaining six tracks will be exclusive to the album, with the release being housed on Casper Tielrooij and Thomas Martojo's fledgling Dekmantel label.
