The Dutch producer will launch his Unbalance album in London with the help of Shed, Pinch and Kode9.
Dutch producer Dave Huismans has been blurring the lines between dubstep, techno and broken beat with his 2562 moniker since 2007, with his debut album Aerial receiving critical acclaim for its uniquely streamlined and techy vision of modern bass music. The follow-up—again released on Tectonic—is set to drop in November, and Huismans will precede it with a special showcase at Corsica Studios on Friday 2nd October. Tectonic boss Pinch, Hyperdub's Kode9 and Ostgut Ton's Shed will be helping him out behind the decks in the main room with a mix of forward-thinking four-to-the-floor and dubstep, while Werk Discs head honcho Actress will showcase his lush wonky techno with a live performance.
Clubbers looking for a purer dubstep sound to get their groove on should look no further than the second room, which will be hosted by Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu label. Brackles and Ikonika will both lay down sets of colourful sub-low styles, with Subeena, Equinox and DJ Planet Mu completing the action-packed bill.
