- Slam will host their Halloween bash at Glasgow's Arches this Friday, featuring performances from Green Velvet, Robert Hood and Tadeo.
- Green Velvet will return to Slam's Pressure party after a year-long gap this Friday night. The master of jacking Chicago beats is donning his techno-focused guise to headline the Halloween special, but the Slam lads haven't just relied on Curtis Jones' crowd-pulling power to get people through the door. Minimal techno legend Robert Hood will also be on hand to play one of his semi-live sets, combining turntable trickery with samplers, synths and FX, while Madrid-based minimalist Alex Under's sleek and energetic sound is also coming for its first Scottish airing of 2009. Fellow NET28 member Tadeo is also set to appear, as is Romania's Raresh, who will break up all the techno with a set of stripped-back house. Soma stalwarts and Pressure regulars Silicone Soul complete the bill alongside Slam, with local support coming from the Sunday Circus crew.
