  • Bristol's Futureboogie crew will host a special Red Bull Music Academy event in their home city on Saturday 27th February. Futureboogie have been running their operation from the city for eight years now, branching out from their Bristol roots to hold down residencies in London and at Croatia's Garden Festival, while also running a booking and management agency featuring many of the regular guests that they've put on over the course of the last decade. Usually focusing on a mixture of deep house, disco, boogie and nu-jazz, their main room headliners fit in perfectly with the Futureboogie remit, with Theo Parrish set to make his Bristol debut alongside Innervisions head honcho Dixon. This isn't just a party for the house and disco aficionados, however, as Kevin Martin (AKA The Bug) and Roger Robinson will be bringing the dubstep/Lovers Rock synergy of their King Midas Sound project to the second room, which will also feature an all-star Bristol line-up of Appleblim, Peverelist and Headhunter.
