The festival's lineup will also include Hot Chip, Seth Troxler, Joy Orbison, Gil Scott Heron and many more.
Over fifty other live bands have been announced, in addition to approximately twenty DJs. Some notable electronic names on the bill so far include Warp Records' artist Flying Lotus, eclectic vinyl-freak The Gaslamp Killer, atmospheric beat-master Ulrich Schnauss, indie-dance favorite Vitalic and Simian Mobile Disco.
The festival will also feature a diverse program of DJ sets, including house and techno jocks such as Ewan Pearson, Seth Troxler, Dixon and Horse Meat Disco. And there'll also be a solid contingent of dubstep artists for attendees to get stuck into with Untold, Ramadanman and Mary Anne Hobbs all set to feature. As always, festival curator Rob Da Bank will get his turn behind the decks as well.
For those unfamiliar with its outlandish charms, Bestival is a massive camping festival held annually on the Isle of Wight. In addition to top-tier programming, it's known for its eco-friendly philosophy and over-the-top aesthetic flourishes, such as the flame spitting Afterburner Stage, which will be twice as large this year. Bestival 2010 will also include a sculpture garden, a solar-powered Wii Tent and something called the "Castle In The Sky Bonfire Extravaganza."
For the rest of the lineup so far, head over to Bestival's RA Event Pages, and stay tuned for new additions to the line up.
