Four Tet, Mount Kimbie, Pantha du Prince and more will play the Danish event this August.
This August, the fourth edition of Strøm festival will take place in Copenhagen, bringing six days of advanced electronic sounds to various spots around the Danish capital.
The bulk of Strøm's programming will occur completely for free over two days, on a pair of outdoor stages at Enghaveparken. These acts include Cobblestone Jazz, Four Tet, Pantha Du Prince and German experimental outfit To Rococo Rot. Some heady dubstep will feature as well, in the form of Darkstar and Mount Kimbie.
Meanwhile, more artists will be playing at venues around the city from August 16th to the 22nd. Details for this portion of the festival are still forthcoming, but acts announced so far include Thomas Fehlmann, Solomun, Nosaj Thing, and drum & bass duo Instra:mental. Leading dubstep label Apple Pips will have an entire showcase to themselves, featuring Al Tourettes, N-Type, Orphan101, Arkist and labelhead Appleblim. Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi will make an appearance as well, in support of his recent solo album Go.
