- The Tough Alliance member will release a solo album this month on Modular.
Eric Berglund, half of Swedish duo The Tough Alliance, is ready to release a solo album under his new alias ceo.
Entitled White Magic, the record is set to hit stores later this month. Much like Berglund's work with The Tough Alliance, the sound of ceo is electronically enhanced pop with hints of folk music, all delivered in a melodramatic tone, as demonstrated by the record's comically poetic press release: "ceo arises in 1981 and 1891. in 3064 and tomorrow. after ibrahimovic and before nectanebo II. before the dark ages and after spring break. before time was, ceo is." The new album will be Berglund's first solo release to date.
