The Sistrum boss will lay down a set at the St. Petersburg nightspot later this month.
It may have taken a couple of years for his particular strand of 4/4 to come back into vogue, but Patrice Scott now finds himself as a flag-bearer for the recent resurgence in deeper-leaning house sounds. The Motor City producer has cast his message predominantly through his own Sistrum Recordings, although the names Yore Records and Esperanza also pepper his discography. Those at Griboedov Club on Saturday, July 17th should count on Scott dropping oodles of material in the vein of his Sistrum releases, along with the latest and greatest in Detroit deep house. Support on this night comes from local DJs Lluck and Oira. The party will be the first of the year in the Russkiy Detroit series, after a pair of gigs at Griboedov during 2009 that featured Daniel Bell and Audio Werner respectively.
