- The Brooklyn label's core duo will play in Berlin this Friday night.
This Friday night, Horst Krzbrg will host an extended set by Gadi Mizrahi and Zev, the co-founders of Brooklyn's Wolf + Lamb imprint.
It's been a good year for Wolf + Lamb so far: After placing third in RA's top 20 labels of 2009, they set off on an international tour with their stable of young artists in tow, including Soul Clap, Nicolas Jaar and No Regular Play. Zev and Gadi reached a milestone as well, releasing their debut album, Love Someone, at the beginning of the summer. Ironically, the core duo have spent most of this time apart, as each focused on his solo projects: Zev with productions and DJ gigs, Gadi with his new label, Double Standard. This Friday in Berlin will be the pair's first gig together in about eight months, and to mark the occasion they'll be playing a special extended set–Zev and Gadi will be trading off from open til close.
