Robert Hood headlines Elevate Austria

- The lineup has been announced for this year's edition of Elevate Austria, set to take place next month in the city of Graz. According its official website, the five-day event aims to "stimulate new ways of thinking and listening by means of an extraordinary combination of electronic music, art and political discourse." Looking at the bill, it's not hard to see what they mean; lectures and workshops on technology, media and politics make up one portion of the festival, while the other boasts boasts performances from dozens of electronic artists, ranging from hard techno by Robert Hood and Sandwell District to post-dubstep from Mount Kimbie and Actress. More staunchly avant-garde music will be on offer as well, thanks to Emeralds, Oneohtrix Point Never and self-described dadaist Felix Kubin. The primary venue for the festival will be Dom im Berg, an underground space located deep within the Schloßberg, a steep hill that juts out from the center of Graz.
