The Dutch DJ and producer will release his debut album this fall.
Hague-based DJ and producer Sander Kleinenberg will release a new album, 5K, early next month.
The record will mark Kleinenberg's first proper artist album, following 15 years of 12-inches, mix compilations and high-profile DJ gigs. Though his style typically hovers somewhere between electro house and big room tech house, 5K presents something a bit more pop-inspired, with syncopated beats and generous helpings of hip-hop and R&B vocals. That said, Kleinenberg's charging club sound is hardly lacking, thanks to tracks like "Disko Riot" and "This Is Our Dub," the latter of which is a re-rub of his 2009 self-released single "This Is Our Night." In addition to a raft of guest vocalists, the album features an appearance by funky Dutch trio Kraak & Smaak, who lend their talents on "The Journey."
The album will launch later this month with a party at Melkweg during ADE, featuring Kleinenberg and progressive house icon Sasha. Tickets to the event can be had right here on RA.
