- Matt Cutler will release his fourth album next month through his own label, Magic Wire Recordings.
Nottingham-based producer Matt Cutler, AKA Lone, will release a new LP called Emerald Fantasy Tracks next month.
Since his debut less than four years ago, Cutler's sound has been based on off-kilter hip-hop beats and a ravey, psychedelic feel. "I could spot a Lone track by hearing one or two bars," says Warp Records artist Bibio. "He has a personality in his music that is vivid." Emerald Fantasy Tracks will be his fourth LP to date, and comes less than a year after his previous full-length, Ecstasy and Friends, which saw release last winter on Actress's Werk Discs imprint. In the time since that release, Cutler launched a label called Magic Wire Recordings, which debuted last summer with the 10-inch Pineapple Crush. Emerald Fantasy Tracks will be the first full-length on Magic Wire Recordings, and will be released as a double-LP.
