  • Matthew Dear will make the trip to Glasgow to mark the third birthday of H&P on December 4. In the decade since he began releasing music, Dear has been nothing short of prolific. Working under various guises including Audion, False and Jabberjaw has allowed him to remain original in his productions, releasing records on labels such as Perlon, Minus and his co-owned imprints, Ghostly International and Spectral Sound. His latest full-length Black City is his most critically acclaimed work to date, and alongside his previous album, Asa Breed, demonstrates his unique vision of synth pop. Dear will be performing live next week with his band Matthew Dear's Big Hands for what will be his first Scottish show of 2010. H&P's third year has not been short on highlights, with Oni Ayhun, Alex Smoke and Veronica Vasicka all playing to a full house last month, and Matias Aguayo and Rebolledo performing earlier in the year. For their third birthday celebrations Matthew Dear will be accompanied by DJ support from David Barbarossa and H&P's Andrew. Tickets for the H&P 3rd Birthday with Matthew Dear can be purchased right here from RA Tickets.
