  • Highly regarded techno duo Sandwell District will play Dublin venue The Twisted Pepper next Saturday. Set up in 2002, the Sandwell District imprint has chiefly been a low-key release platform for Regis, Function, Silent Servant and Female. In terms of live performance, the SD name is usually the indicator of the former two linking up for a dual DJ/live show, while (slightly confusingly) the upcoming Sandwell District album, Feed-Forward, has been composed by Regis, Function and Silent Servant, with Female pitching in with additional production. Regis and Funtion will both be in attendance for Saturday, November 20th's gig in Twisted Pepper's basement, while support will be lent by Test's Jay Galligan. The stage, meanwhile, will be looked after by Scribble Sound System and feature sets from Madaski and The Dub Sync Project, DJ Double V and Lex Woo.
