- The French DJ and producer will release his debut album in four parts this winter.
Circo Loco resident Guillaume Duchastel, better known as DJ W!ld, will release his first album early next year.
The record is called Palace, named after the Paris club where W!ld has been a resident since the '90s. Historically, W!ld's tracks have had a similar style to his DJ sets: punchy, upbeat house that's well-suited to sunny afterparties. Palace promises to follow this blueprint, with 11 tracks that draw inspiration from his various adventures around the world, from afterhours parties in Ibiza ("Take a Trip") to Miami hotel rooms during WMC ("5445").
The album will come out in a series of four 12-inches, Yellow, Blue, Pink and Purple, the first of which will be released later this month. A CD version of the album altogether will hit stores in March. All five releases will come out on W!ld's label, W.
