- Monkeytown Records will release the oddball producer's second full-length in March.
The next album by German producer Siriusmo is called Mosaik, and will hit shops this March on Modeslektor's Monkeytown Records.
Siriusmo has been putting out music for over a decade, with past releases landing on Sonar Kollektiv and Boysnoize Records among others. But for most of this time he's flown under the radar; a committed illustrator and graffiti artist, he rarely even played out until recently. Over the past year he's come out of his shell a bit, thanks in part to Modeselektor, whose Modeselektion events have brought him to clubs like Berghain and the upcoming Bloc festival.
Mosaik will be his first full-length since 2008's Diskoding, and shows him further exploring his chaotic, left-field sound, which Aaron Coultate described as "battered, warped and twisted." It will be released digitally as well as on CD and double-vinyl, with all of the tracklists differing slightly (three tracks are exclusive to the CD, two are exclusive to the vinyl). Almost all of the material is previously unreleased.
