- UK indie-electro group Friendly Fires have announced a last-minute DJ set in Sydney for this Saturday's Adult Disco at the Civic Underground. Currently on tour with the Good Vibrations festival, Friendly Fires have become one of the UK's most prominent electronic bands. While they may not be known primarily as DJs, they're no strangers to beat matching and a pair of CDJs, having contributed a very 4/4-heavy installment to !K7's Bugged Out Presents! Suck My Deck series last year. The mix navigated its way through the retro electro of Egyptian Lover, tech house of Ryan Crosson and gritty techno of Redshape, so you can probably expect a varied affair from the three-piece when they step behind the Allen & Heath V6 tomorrow night.
