The Hotflush duo will take an extended trip across the US and Canada starting next month.
It's been just two years since Mount Kimbie first turned heads with Maybes, their debut EP for Hotflush Recordings and a tender collection of songs that blurred the lines between ambient, downtempo and dubstep. Since then, the duo of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos has stuck with Hotflush, yielding a handful of other releases before last summer's Crooks and Lovers, Mount Kimbie's debut LP.
With the aforementioned festival sets book-ending the tour, Mount Kimbie will head on an exhaustive journey across the continent, with more than 20 events in barely a month. After the Texas shows, they'll head to the northeast for a weekend, before a pair of shows in St. Louis and Chicago lead the way to the west coast. The tour then moves southeast, with four dates in Florida and a night in New Orleans before the final appearance back in California at Coachella.
