Hot Natured hits Washington DC

- Jamie Jones and Lee Foss heat up the U Street Music Hall next Friday.
- Jamie Jones and Lee Foss will bring a night of Hot Natured action to the nation's capitol next weekend. Both producers are globetrotters; Jones lived in the UK before moving to New York, and Foss is a longtime Chicago resident who now splits time between Los Angeles and London. They also share a love of funk and pop-infused house music, evidenced by their association with New York's Wolf+Lamb label. Jones has the more extensive discography, with frequent appearances on Crosstown Rebels and Freak n' Chic dating back to 2006. He formally joined forces with Foss a couple years ago as Hot Natured, releasing a pair of records via Culprit in LA (which Foss had previously produced for), and last year saw the launch of their own imprint, Hot Creations. The party next Friday is hosted by mnmlife, the Washington-based house/techno promotion group that just celebrated two years of operation in January.
