  • Later this month, DJ and producer Vagon Brei will release an album called Destiny on Further Records, the Seattle label run by Mark Cul and Chloe Harris. Though he hails from Asturias, an autonomous region on the coast of Spain, Vagon Brei's musical roots lie further north in The Hague. He DJs on Intergalactic FM, the city's esteemed source of Italo and electro, and released his first album, Asturias Tierra De Leyendas, through Strange Life Records, the imprint run by Danny Wolfers, AKA Legowelt (who also penned the artwork for Destiny). His new full-length is mostly ambient, with a few reduced techno tracks thrown in as well. Further Records describes it as "a concept album about a doomed space mission," which is easy to gather from the song titles and the feel of the music itself. As with K, Donato Dozzy's album on Further, Destiny will be available on vinyl and as a limited edition cassette.
