- The Detroit native will play in Sydney in late April.
- US house producer Alex Omar Smith, better known as Omar-S, will be visiting Sydney for the first time in almost two years next month. Smith has been spinning a unique brand of house for over 20 years. Based in Detroit, the producer has become just as renowned for his adventurous DJ sets as he is his own production output. The Michigan native helmed Fabric 45 back in 2009, compiling a mix comprised entirely of his own tracks. Additionally, Smith's FXHE Records is particularly well known amongst the house community, hosting much of Smith's own catalogue, with most of it being available solely on vinyl. Smith will be arriving in Sydney for a set at Tone for Picnic on April 24th. Tickets to the gig are available here at RA.
