- The UK techno producer has announced limited details regarding his first full-length for over a decade.
Anthony Child, AKA Surgeon, will release a new album through his own Dynamic Tension Records on an as yet unannounced date.
Child last made a statement in the LP format back in 2000 with the release of Body Request on Dynamic Tension, which followed on from earlier efforts for Downwards, BMG and Tresor. Considering his run of one album per-year between 1996 and 2000, the ten years its taken for this new full-length to arrive seems like quite a gap, although numerous 12-inch singles and a couple of highly regarded mix CDs in This Is For You Shits and Fabric 53 have kept fans of Child's tough yet multifarious techno sound ticking over.
Exact details regarding Breaking The Frame are still scant (artwork and release date are yet to be confirmed), although for now there is a tracklist, which reveals that the album will be comprised of entirely new and unreleased material.
