  • Secretsundaze have announced that the tenth summer season of the party will be kicked off by Kyle Hall at a secret east London location on 1st May. Tipped for stardom by the likes of Omar-S and Theo Parrish, 19 year-old Kyle Hall has remixed artists such as Darkstar and Dennis Ferrer, released on labels like Hyperdub and Third Ear, and last year participated in the sizeable D25 tour which was curated by Carl Craig. In secretsundaze he will be helping kick off a season of events which during its first eight years evolved from a word-of-mouth party with unannounced guests to a far larger, more business-minded affair. However at the beginning of 2010's season promoters Giles Smith and James Priestley announced that they would be going back to their roots, reducing prices and promotional material so that only the most ardent of fans would find them. Tickets, at least in the case of this year's opening party, are available here on RA, which perhaps suggests a relaxing of the policy for their 10th anniversary year. Further guests for the opening party will be announced in the coming weeks.
