- The hometown hero will celebrate his birthday with another bash at The Barbary next Friday.
Philly native and Ovum Recordings boss Josh Wink will make a hometown appearance next weekend with an four-hour set at The Barbary.
Wink has been producing music for some two decades. Since the early '90s, he's experimented with a variety of styles, including acid house, breakbeat and minimal techno, and in 1994, he founded Ovum with fellow Philadelphian King Britt. The label is still active, with over 200 releases to its name. Local promoter Shakedown has previously hosted Wink at The Barbary for extended sets, and for the second straight year he'll be celebrating his birthday with an all-night performance.
