- The new flagship six channel audio interface will hit stores in May.
Native Instruments have announced details of their latest audio interface, Komplete Audio 6.
The new six channel offering comes packing four analog ins/outs, digital in/out, MIDI and a headphone output (with source switch and level control) all wrapped up in a similar design style to NI's prior audio interfaces. The Komplete Audio 6 is totally USB powered and is said to provide 100% latency-free monitoring for recording live sources via its direct monitoring option. Also included is a mono switch for recording such sources (vocals, guitars), "high-quality" pre-amps with gain controls and a status LEDs for all signals.
In addition to the hardware, "light" versions of Traktor 2 and Cubase 5 come bundled, as well as Komplete Elements 6 which comprises a total of 1,000 instruments/effects.
Native Instruments will release Komplete Audio 6 in May 2011 at a suggested retail price of $339/€299.
