FACT debuts in Australia with Satoshi Tomiie

- The Spanish party will land in Sydney's Tank club this Thursday.
- Spanish weekly club night FACT will be touching down in Australia later this week, with Satoshi Tomiie headlining the party's debut at Tank. FACT has spent much of the past 12 months hosting parties outside its hometown of Barcelona. Ibiza, London and Berlin have all been stops on the night's current world tour, hosting label showcases from the likes of Moon Harbour, Minus and Flying Circus throughout 2010. When FACT arrives in Sydney this Thursday, the New York-based Tomiie will returning for another one of his regular appearances in the city, having been a frequent guest of Australian clubs since the late '90s. You can likely expect some slick mixing from Tomiie when he steps to the FACT decks, a quality that has followed the Japanese-born jock throughout the 20-odd year he's spent spinning progressive house. The event this Thursday will also serve as one the Tank nightclub's final farewells. Due to close its doors indefinitely from May, Tank has been a fixture on the Sydney clubbing circuit for several years now, hosting an array of club nights throughout its ten years of operation.
