- Mathematics will release the the young Polish artist's first album this month.
Kuba Sojka is ready to release his debut album, Mysterious Intrigue.
The record will see release through Mathematics Recordings, the label run by Jamal Moss, AKA Hieroglyphic Being. It marks an early milestone in Sojka's career: the young Polish artist has put out just two 12-inches so far, following a string of digital-only releases. Until 2009 he worked as Psi-Acoustic, a project that focused on dubby, IDM-inspired tracks. Under his given name, his sound is much warmer and more soul-inspired, a style he sticks to with Mysterious Intrigue. Comprising nine previously unreleased songs, the album shows Sojka trying out a few different angles on deep house, with a down-tempo opener, a few diva vocals, some jazzy horns and a bit of acid thrown in at the end.
