  • After selling out each of his scheduled dates around the country, UK artist James Blake has added a second Sydney show to his upcoming Australian tour. For the past year, Blake has been one of UK bass music's most popular acts. Not long after kicking off his production career with a string of well-received EPs on labels like Hessle Audio and Hemlock, the Londoner went on to drop his self-titled debut album, a release that catapulted him into mainstream consciousness. As evidenced by the rapid selling-out of his July club shows, the Englishman's level of popularity in Australia is high, with the speedy ticket sales likely amplified by the fact that the upcoming dates will be his first performances in the country. The second date will take place at the Metro Theatre, a venue substantially larger than Newtown's Factory Theatre, which will hosting Blake's first Sydney date on July 28th. He'll land at the Metro for a live set two days after that first appearance
