- The Sydney night will now host warehouse parties on a monthly basis.
Sydney disco promoter Picnic will launch One Night Stand, a monthly warehouse party, this weekend.
After its debut in 2009, Picnic went on to establish itself as one of Sydney's foremost house and disco parties. Playing host to international selectors on a regular basis, the night has managed to strike a healthy balance between throwing parties in clubs and less traditional music environments. The One Night Stand series will take place in one of the former, with its launch to be headlined by Tamas Jones of Hey Convict!, a duo that have been part of the Melbourne's underground disco community for much of the '00s.
The One Night Stand launch will take place this Saturday June 25th, and will get underway from 10:00 PM with a BYO alcohol policy. The warehouse location has yet to be announced.
