The Argentinian artist will play ten parties over the next eleven days.
Guti will take his live set on tour to Central and North America, starting tonight in Zapopan, Mexico.
A relative unknown from Buenos Aires up until a few years ago, Guti's hypnotic, jazzy house has gained him an international following via appearances on Wolf + Lamb Music and Supplement Facts. Meanwhile, he's drawn the attention of Loco Dice, who released his debut album Patio de Juegos on Desolat earlier this year. Since then Guti has moved to Dusseldorf and played countless parties and festivals around the world, including a set at Movement in Detroit last month.
Just one day of rest divides a tour made up of consecutive appearances over two five-day periods. A weekend run through Central America gets things started, with Zapopan tonight followed by Panama City and San Jose, Costa Rica. From there, Guti goes north to the US to play two events in Chicago, before his one day off leads to a Wednesday night in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A Thursday night stop in Toronto will be his sole appearance in Canada for now, before a date in Miami at the Electric Pickle. The trek winds down in California next weekend with parties in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
